Carts Improve Use of Modular Tube Frames for Forklift Free Plants
|
Cleveland-based Kinetic Technologies, LLC, manufacturer of material handling systems for forklift free applications, has released new non-powered carts designed for delivery of small to medium sized parts for line-side assembly. Carts may be built with modular tube frames configured for gravity flow conveying or outfitted for kitting / sequencing assembly. They can be “exchanged” or inserted line-side allowing operators to work from the units. Carts may be “filled” away from the production floor in the market area and then towed to the line. The new, rugged KT2-TF unit features heavy-duty tubular steel lower frame, special low push force wheel system, rotating upper frame w/four soft detent positions, auto-lock and modular, customer specified, custom designed ENZA steel tube frame distributed by Hovair Automotive. Pocket in lower frame allows cart and load to be raised using standard lifts providing more ergonomic and efficient use of entire tube frame space. Cart capacity - 2,000 lbs.For further information, visit the K-TEC website at www.k-tec.bzCompany information:
